Alison was one of only two Puppeteers to win the National Puppet Bursary Award 2005 from the Puppet Centre in London and jointly, Alison and Alex also received the UnLtd Millenium Award Level 2 in 2005 to set up PuppetShip CIC as a social enterprise.

Alison worked recently with NVA in Glasgow, providing the shadow puppetry projected on Saltwell Tower, Gateshead. As part of the Glow Festival 2006.

In 2007 Alison will devide her time between a Cultural Hubs project in Bullion Lane Primary school, Chester lee Street, Northumberland and as a Clown Doctor operating in childrens wards of hospitals in the North East.
